Grace Brethren Youth Sports baseball will be celebrating its 23rd year on opening day Saturday, February 28th at GraceBrethrenElementary School located at
1717 Arcane Street. Ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. There will be a small carnival atmosphere with games offering prizes, a live band, a few vendor booths and a Home Run Derby. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Opening ceremonies and the carnival are free to the public and all proceeds from the sale of food helps support GBYS’s non-profit league. Enjoy a great “Old Time Baseball” day outside, while at the same time listening to baseball songs from a live band.
Grace Brethren Youth Sports was created 23 years ago for the purpose of coaching young people and their families the wholesome game of baseball while providing a venue of competitive sports in a friendly, inexpensive and coed environment. At G.B.Y.S., “Everyone Plays”
