EZFI USA, a Mortgage Corporation, announced Friday that they intend to begin staffing their Simi Valley facility. "We're interviewing licensed loan officers, processors, clerical support and call center staff", said Manny Crovetto. With new job creation on everyone's mind this is good news for the region. "We are experiencing rapid growth. This is our first round of hiring in 2004, and we have restructured our commission and pay rates to be attractive to both beat our competitors and hopefully take advantage of some people laid off recently by other local lenders like Countrywide."
"We really had to look hard at our hiring needs and begin to think of the future, we are developing an apprentice program expected to be complete this June. Our hope is to make opportunities available for students to gain experience and explore careers in the mortgage and real estate industry during their summer vacation".
