Commercial Real Estate and APARTMENTS at the corner of L.A. Avenue and Madera?
The corner of L.A. Avenue and Madera was originally zoned for Commercial Development. The developer who purchased the land, Casden Properties, LLC (please correct me if I am wrong) is proposing commercial real estate on what looked like 30% of the property and 290 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartment units on the rest. What is the community's reaction to this?

Does anyone know if the developer has called any more meetings with the residents of Park Lane/Simi Village? When they do, please post that information to this message board.

I have just received an invitation from Casden Properties for a meeting in regards to the vacant property located at L.A. Avenue and Madera Rd. Here are the details: When: Tuesday, January 6, 2004 5:30-8:30 PM Where: Posada Royale Hotel, Salon A (1775 Madera Rd.) The presentation begins at 6:00 PM.
